Today we had the pleasure of presenting our High School Athletic Director of the Year award to Coach Dorwyn Lyles at Charles Drew High School!
Coach Lyles has been a coach at Drew for over 16 years. He has been a leader in our athletic director community for 14 years.
“What distinguishes Coach Lyles is not only what he accomplishes, but how he accomplishes it. He is proactive, communicative, and solutions-driven. There are no surprises under his leadership—only thoughtful planning, clear communication, and consistent execution. He builds strong relationships with coaches, staff, students, families, and the community, creating a culture rooted in trust, respect, and shared responsibility.”
