The Clayton County Public School District Department of Athletics is committed to excellence in academics and athletics. We are dedicated to the student-athletic experience, aiming to instill honor and integrity, adhere to the rules of competition and sportsmanship, and produce champions in sports and in life.
CCPS governs more than 5000 student-athletes in grades 3-12 at 12 comprehensive high schools, 15 middle schools and 38 elementary schools.

The CCPS Department of Athletics provides student athletes with a rich education based athletic program that encourages our students to grow as individuals and leaders by experiencing the importance of being on a team.
VISION
The CCPS Department of Athletics strives to provide a education based athletic program that gives access and opportunity for its student-athletes; engages its community in the review of regular program offerings and best practices; coordinates with its community partners; and places greater emphasis on sportsmanship, healthy lifestyle habits and safe exercise protocol.
