MMHS Girls Soccer Advances to GHSA State Playoffs

MMHS girls soccer finished the regular season with a record of 11-4-1 and qualified for the GHSA state play-offs. The Lady Tigers are Coached by Julius Omotayo, Antoine Lambert and Benjamin Shatto. Mundy’s Mill is the only Clayton County girls soccer team to qualify for the state play-offs two years consecutively. MMHS had five players that made the all-region team: Senior Jadyn Orjiak and Freshman Mariah Cooper made the All-Region First Team. Sophomore Jelyn Diez Martinez, and Juniors Lizbeth Ramirez and Johana Villalobos-Bonilla made the second team. They will travel to Brunswick to play aGlynn Academy on Thursday April 18 at 5:30 pm.
